Gretchen Quinn

Gretchen makes functional ceramics with a clean, modern feel. Her inspiration comes from Danish Modern and Shaker designs emphasizing simplicity, unity, and honesty.
Her pieces are handmade from beautiful, dark brown stoneware clay and finished with a glossy white glaze. Gretchen’s patterned details are carved without stencils or premade patterns, templates, or textures. Each piece is made and fired in her downtown Raleigh studio and durably designed for daily use.
