Cardinal Pair on Branch

$184.00

Female cardinals may sing up to two dozen different tunes, depending on their location. Both male and female vocal patterns vary slightly based upon their region, just as dialects of languages appear depending upon the locale.

Featuring a vibrant palette of rich crimson and soft butter yellow, this two-cardinal wall sculpture is crafted entirely by hand. The rich colors are achieved by sprinkling pulverized glass onto solid copper, then firing the sculpture in a kiln under extreme heat. This process creates a vitreous enamel coating that locks in both saturated color and crisp detail.

Measures approximately 6" long x 13" tall x 1" deep.
