Ginkgo Branch - Autumn Leaves
Native to China, the ginkgo is one of the oldest living tree species in the world. It is the lone survivor of an ancient group of trees that date back to before dinosaurs roamed the earth - as far back as 245 million years ago!

The fan-shaped leaves are crafted by hand and colored by fusing shades of powdered glass onto solid copper which are then kiln-firing the piece in extreme heat.
