Renowned glass artist Lisa Oakley, with over two decades of expertise in the murrine technique, meticulously crafts each vessel. About Lisa Oakley
Lisa, the daughter of Sid and Pat Oakley began blowing glass in 1994. She went on to build the first hot glass art studio in eastern North Carolina.
Lisa's hot glass studio is nestled in a natural setting on the grounds of Cedar Creek Gallery. Her parents, Sid and Pat Oakley, both potters, started the gallery in 1968. Over the last fifty-five years, it has grown to support several resident artists and over 200 regional and national craftspeople.
