Online Auction:
For those who want to ensure they receive a glass egg in this year's fundraiser, an online auction is being held for the first five eggs. More details about the auction are available here.
About the Glass Eggs
Each egg is handcrafted, signed, and dated by renowned glass artist Lisa Oakley. Ranging from 4 to 6.5 inches tall, each egg is a breathtaking work of art.
These exclusive eggs are not for sale—the only way to get one is to participate in the fundraiser! All of the eggs are on display in the gallery and online.
Meet the Artist: Lisa Oakley
Lisa Oakley, the second-generation owner of Cedar Creek Gallery, has been blowing glass since 1994. She made her first glass egg in 1995 for an egg hunt at Penland School of Craft and has continued the tradition ever since.
Lisa believes in giving back to the community and is passionate about fighting food insecurity. With the support of the Cedar Creek Gallery team and talented studio glassblowers Lizzie Morantz, Mike Pope, and Harrison Harper, she has once again created a stunning collection of glass eggs for this year's fundraiser.
Together, we can make a difference—one glass egg at a time!
