I was fascinated by the character of “The Quarters” and how it could be continually retranslated through the smells, sounds, and shadows of an architecturally unique space. This experience no doubt informed my artistic expression.
In 2008, I began showing my work, which includes open and closed vessels, teapots, and wall sculptures. Several of my pieces are in private and corporate collections, including the Fleur Bresler Collection and the permanent collection of the Kamm Teapot Foundation. Although known for my unique slab-built wooden teapots, my wall hangings best reflect a fascination with simple—and, more recently, complex—intersections, which I consider the “roux” of compelling design.
Although I hold several degrees, as an artist I am largely self taught, having benefited throughout my life from observations of, and associations with, accomplished artisans.

Artist Statement
My intent and challenge is to create unique, contemporary, and abstract forms that evoke a personal and consequential response.

*Teapots that are purchased will remain on display in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition, through September 14, 2026.
After the show closes, teapots will be carefully packed and shipped by September 28, or they may be picked up at the gallery.
