He received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa (1990) and his BFA from Eckerd College (1982). Bede’s work is included in collections in the U.S. and abroad, such as the Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum, Icheon World Ceramic Center, South Bend Museum of Art, Daum Museum of Contemporary Art, Martin Museum of Art, and the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eBede maintains a studio in Columbia, Missouri, where he continues to produce his work. Recent exhibitions include the Muskegon Museum of Art, Dennos Museum Center, Lawrence Arts Center, NCECA 60th Anniversary Exhibition, Reuben Saunders Gallery, and the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eHe has conducted over 100 workshops and lectures across the country and internationally.
