About the Teapot
The Faerie Ring has a Teapot, a Sparkle Nectar teacup and a Tea Tray. It is a place of mischief and secrets. If you look closely at the tea pot you will see fairies, mushrooms, a rabbit, a grasshopper playing the fiddle, a hummingbird, a snail and many other magical beings as well as flowers that are inspired from the gardens at Janet and Jay's home, Rabbit Rose Hollow. On the tea tray you will see faerie footprints running across the tray with our favorite flower, the rose. The finial is a blue bird of happiness and of course, a royal faerie bird. It is one of a kind.

About Janet and Jay
Janet and Jay O'Rourke have been collaborating for over 45 years. Janet's pencils, paintbrushes, and carving tools are her magic wands. Jay's lathe and carving tools are his magic. Together they find inspiration in nature, birds, insects, gardens, and magic to create their unique, one-of-a-kind works.
Together, they spend time salvaging wood from storms and tree trimmers to use in their creations. Each piece is carved by hand using a combination of pigment, pyrography, colored pencils, and Swarovski rhinestones. All of their work is finished with multiple layers of lacquer.

*Teapots that are sold must remain on display in the gallery as part of the exhibit until the show closes on September 10, 2023.  After the show closes, teapots will be carefully packed and shipped by September 26 or available for pick-up at the gallery.
