I am working with porcelain, the best I can make, using fine European porcelains as my inspiration. To increase the strength and workability of the raw porcelain, I fold recycled paper and cotton fibers into the clay mix. This is commonly referred to as "Paperclay." I then fire the finished work to cone 13, nearly 2,700 F. I strive to find movement and especially attitude in my work. Although there are traditional aspects of my career, I produce functional pottery, and the true intent is to create fun, relaxed, and contemporary ceramics. In my studio, I do not use apprentices or employees, nor do not use commercial clays, underglazes, or glazes.

*Teapots that are purchased will remain on display in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition, through September 14, 2026.
After the show closes, teapots will be carefully packed and shipped by September 28, or they may be picked up at the gallery.
