Dierks has developed a signature style of ceramic artistry that features unique surfaces, small birds, and a palette of original glazes. Lucy’s work has its roots in the Visual Arts Center of TCC, where she studied studio production pottery from 1997-1998, followed by a concentration in ceramic art at the Penland School of Craft in 2003. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: rgb(69, 68, 65);\"\u003eHer work has been featured in galleries, including the Blue Spiral in Asheville, NC, The Signature Shop in Atlanta, Watson MacCrae Gallery in Sanibel, and the Penland School Gallery. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: rgb(69, 68, 65);\"\u003eCurrently, Lucy works solely in porcelain and mixes her glazes. She is fascinated with creating surfaces that mimic nature, such as lichen, stones, or tree bark.
