Marsha Owen Side Handle Teapot
Stoneware teapot with a traditional side handle design. The side handle is narrow at the edge of the teapot and becomes larger in diameter towards the free end. The spout is formed at a 90-degree angle from the handle. This traditional Japanese design allows the tea drinker to hold the handle and place their thumb on the lid to pour using just one hand.
- Measures approximately 6" wide x 7" long x 5.5" tall.
- Crafted from stoneware in a traditional Japanese side handle design.
- As with all handcrafted items, slight variations in size, color, and design are to be expected.
About Marsha Owen
Marsha Owen and her husband Rick Moss have been creating ceramic objects for everyday use for over twenty years. Marsha works on the wheel while Rick does much of the hand-building. Everything is handcrafted and has all the variation and interest you expect in one-of-a-kind, handmade items.
All of her pottery is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Avoid placing on an electric burner or direct flame. Avoid sudden or extreme temperature changes by placing ceramic pieces in a cold oven first, then heating to temperature.
