This end-grain cutting board is handcrafted from laminated squares, creating a durable and knife-friendly surface. Since the wood fibers run vertically, knives slide between them rather than cutting across, which helps keep blades sharper and reduces visible marks. Plus, end-grain surfaces are 10 times harder than side-grain, making this board exceptionally tough and long-lasting.

This board measures approximately 13.5” long, 9.75” wide, and a solid 1” thick, and has a sturdy, substantial feel. It’s crafted from a beautiful mix of hardwoods, including maple, ash, hickory, white oak, coffee nut, tulip poplar, black cherry, black locust, and black walnut—each board has its own unique character.  

End-grain boards require a bit more care than side-grain boards to keep in top shape. Regular conditioning will help maintain their strength, beauty, and performance for years to come.
