Overall, the four train cars measure approximately two feet long when connected end to end. Each of the cars can be detached and played with individually, and linked back together in any order using the unique peg and hole design.
The log on the flat car is the only piece that is removable. All the other pieces of the train cars (wheels, axles, and cargo) are permanently attached.
Each piece is sanded, finished, and detailed by hand. These toys have a classic look, and are meant to be used and played with by generations of children.
