A beautiful lock-back knife that features a stainless steel frame and blade. The handle material is *Fordite - a rare material that has been recycled into beautiful knives!
These one-of-a-kind knives measure 4" closed and have a 3" blade. The overall length when open is 7". Includes a clip on the back.
Due to the varying nature of the Fordite material, each of these knives has its own unique pattern and appearance. However, they all contain varying degrees of black, white, red, and grey.
*Fordite is pre-1985 automobile paint that has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. It was formed by the now-extinct practice of hand spray-painting multiples of production car bodies in large automotive factories. The over-sprayed paint in the painting bays gradually built up on the tracks and skids that the car bodies were moved on. Over time, many colorful layers built up there. Eventually, the paint build-up would become obstructing or too thick and heavy and have to be removed.
