Creating this glass bowl begins with carefully layering pieces of colorful dichroic glass. Dichroic glass is designed to change colors depending on the viewing angle and lighting conditions. These layers are fired multiple times in a glass kiln, where temperatures reach 1,400 degrees.
After firing, each piece is meticulously cut, molded, and polished with care. Turning dichroic glass into beautiful decorative bowls is quite intricate. It requires a lot of patience and precision, but the results are stunning!
Each bowl measures about 5.25” in diameter and 1.25” tall. As with all handcrafted items, slight differences in size, color, and design are expected.

His fused glass jewelry incorporates dichroic glass made with vaporized metal oxides.
