Davin and Susan Butterfield, the potter and the painter, work together to produce their handmade porcelain pottery in their studio situated in a rural part of New York state. The botanical imagery is hand-painted gesturally - likened to impressionism, so that the feeling of light, color, and movement come alive on the surface.
