This satellite ornament is a compact statement piece with a sculptural twist. Its cone-like shape is accented by angled ribbing that spirals from top to bottom, creating movement and texture in every curve.
Vivid hues of purple, teal, gold, green, and blue shimmer across the surface, giving it a dynamic, iridescent finish that shifts with the light. Measuring approximately 3" in diameter and 1.5" tall (not including the hook), it’s perfectly sized for trees, garlands, or tabletop displays.
Each ornament is individually handblown, making every piece a small-scale work of art.

About Corey Silverman
Corey Silverman trained as a glass artist while getting his BFA at Alfred University in Alfred, NY. He lived onsite at Cedar Creek Gallery while working as a studio assistant in the hot shop shortly after graduating, eventually settling in Denver, CO in 1999.
Corey's studies with glass include experimenting with slumped forms, casting, cold work, solid sculpting, and blowing.
After much experimentation, he found himself always coming back to the blown form.
