Artist Statement
I create elegant, bold, and functional wares that invite comfort and enjoyment. I want users to notice the quality, the weight in their hands, and the clarity of pattern. Glazing is central to my process. I explore contrast and texture, pairing smooth surfaces with small areas of exposed clay to create a tactile, intimate experience. Quiet spaces in each piece offer moments of visual rest. Inspired by family ties to textile design, I think about how pattern shapes our perception of form. I see my pots as having bodies, using subtle yet powerful patterns to emphasize their soft curves.

*Teapots that are purchased will remain on display in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition, through September 14, 2026.
After the show closes, teapots will be carefully packed and shipped by September 28, or they may be picked up at the gallery.
