Sugar Bowl

This sugar bowl features a carved lid with a modern ellipse pattern on the lid and a coordinating two-tone body. The ellipse pattern on the lid is hand carved, then glazes are applied with bulb syringes, creating a cloisonné-like effect. A matching ceramic spoon comes with the jar.
The sugar bowl holds approximately 8 ounces, is perfect for serving, and looks lovely on your counter, too!

Each sugar bowl measures about 3.5″ wide and 3.5″ tall. Both the clay and the glazes are lead-free and food safe.
Sold individually.

About Sarah & Thomas Gelsanliter

Sarah and Thomas often draw on the colors and patterns of their surroundings while creating work in their southeastern Michigan studio. Luminous glazes and intricate designs are the hallmarks of their pottery, and each piece is handcrafted to be both beautiful and functional. With his background in design, Thomas draws and hand carves all of the designs. Covered jars, vases, mugs, and other vessels are thrown on the potter’s wheel by Sarah. Both artists work on the pieces at different points in the process, allowing them to create finished work that highlights both of their unique skills.
