About the Teapot
I’ve been working on a series of quilted teapots for many years. Each teapot is inspired by a tea-ism that it is named for. I am challenged to create different teapot shapes that still fulfill the basic description of a quilt (3 fiber layers held together with stitching). Bubble Tea is a quilt, and yes, a teapot.

About the Artist
Mary Beth Bellah is an artist whose work continues to challenge the traditional understanding of what constitutes a quilt. Exhibiting widely in both national and international juried and invitational shows, her work frequently incorporates a unique combination of cotton, wire, recycled elements, and thread, and may be free‑standing or wall‑mounted. Exhibitions have included invited work at Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire, UK, and in Llangollen, North Wales; Quilt National 2007 (OH); and Materials: Hard & Soft (TX).

*Teapots that are purchased will remain on display in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition, through September 14, 2026.
After the show closes, teapots will be carefully packed and shipped by September 28, or they may be picked up at the gallery.
