Marianne Wakerlin started Solmate Socks more than twenty years ago with the simple idea that “Life’s too short for matching socks.” As a lifelong textile artist, she knew there was a place for beautifully crafted socks made right here in America.
When Marianne retired, her son Randy and daughter-in-law Lisa took up the family tradition of designing and crafting wearable art socks.
Today, Solmate Socks is a Certified B Corporation committed to using sustainably sourced, eco-friendly fibers. Every product they make is hand-designed by their amazing team in Hickory, North Carolina.
